A Letter to our Membership,
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has thrust our community into unknown territory. As your Chamber of Commerce, we recognize this is a frightening time and that many in our community have faced both health and economic impacts. We are all concerned with what the Coronavirus pandemic means for our health, our livelihoods and our communities – both in the short and long term. There is still a great deal of uncertainty, but the Albia Chamber of Commerce is, as always, dedicated to making sure our members have the information, resources and support they need during this time.
The Albia Chamber of Commerce is diligently monitoring the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and is routinely reassessing how to best continue to benefit both our members and our guests. The safety and well-being of our community is our number one priority. Please know, we are taking every precaution to ensure our employees and members stay safe and healthy during this time.
Now, more than ever, is the time for our local businesses and the community to band together and support one another. If you have information, ideas or resources to help other local businesses be proactive during this pandemic, and would like to share, please let us know so we can be of assistance. Again, it is crucial to be a good neighbor and to stay strong as a business leader in the community.
As of now, our office remains open, as we continue to be a centralized communication center for the community. We recognize the considerable stress and pressure that the current environment has placed upon America’s small businesses and the communities they belong to. Please continue to share your concerns, observations and updates on your general well-being with us. We are still available by phone and email and will continue to share updates on Facebook and in our e-newsletter. In the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to reassure you that we are here for you and are continuing to plan for a bright future, diligently preparing for our community’s events that we look forward to each summer.

The Albia Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary non-profit organization of the business community advancing the interests of businesses, industries, services and professional firms in the Albia, Iowa area. Most importantly, the Chamber is people just like you who realize that through the Chamber they can accomplish collectively what none of them can not do individually.
